Training To Go Instructor/Forum Moderator Job Description

Responsible for the day to day activities of the Training To Go program course forums, including, but not limited to, posting new lectures and answering questions in a timely manner.

Assist with authoring and revising course lecture notes.

Keep our staff informed of any issues that learners may have.

Maintain an online FAQ database for visitors to our site which will include answers to questions like:

1.
What do I need to access the online classes.
2.
How do I use the class forums.
3.
How do I upgrade to the newest version of Netscape or Internet Explorer.
4.
How to turn on cookies and Java Script.
5.
How do I become a member.
6.
How do I list my nonprofit on your site.
7.
How do I download and install Adobe reader.
8.
What is Winzip and how do I download and install it.
9.
Why do I have to fill out pre and post assessment questionnaires for each class.

Requirements
5 years experience teaching desktop software to adult learners.
Masters degree in Technology or Education preferred.
2 years experience teaching online.
Must be fluent in Word, Excel, Access, Windows, ACT, PageMaker
MOUS and/or Adobe certifications preferred.
