How Does Online Training Compare To CD-ROM Training?
Training To Go

A multimedia CD-ROM course can deliver many of the same benefits as online training, without requiring an Internet connection. Consider the cons of CD-ROM training:

Hardware. Some CD-based courses require very specific high-end hardware to utilize all of the multi-media capabilities. Many computers that cannot run CD-based courses can run any Training To Go course because our courses run in your web browser.

Cost. Most CD-ROM courses are designed for the corporate market which makes them much more expensive than a Training To Go course, that delivers the same skills.

Support. When you have a question about something on the CD, who is going to be there to answer it? Our courses have forum moderators that will answer your questions. Other students can also answer your questions.

Accuracy. Once the training material has been burned on a CD-ROM, the course content can not be updated, which means that you are stuck with any mistakes that may be on the CD. Online courses can be updated on a moments notice, which means that you will always have up to the minute information.
